Before you start

✅ You can install and use any type of plugin you’d like on your WordPress website.

❌ Avoid using plugins with no recent updates or deprecated (outdated) code.

⚠️ Perform plugin management actions one by one to avoid crashing your website or generating errors.

Step by step

Add a plugin

1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard

2. Hover over Plugins

3. Click on Add New Plugin

4. Search for a plugin you want to install

5. Once you’ve found your plugin, click the Install Now button

6. After installation, click the Activate button

7. Click on Plugins from the menu and you will see it listed

Deactivate a plugin

1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard

2. Click on Plugins

3. Find the plugin you want to deactivate

4. Click on Deactivate

Delete a plugin

1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard

2. Click on Plugins

3. Find the plugin you want to delete

4. Click on Deactivate

5. Once deactivated, click on Delete
