Your WordPress admin dashboard is where you manage, build and customize your WordPress website. It can also be referred to as the WordPress ‘backend’ or ‘WP admin’ for short.

Before you start

✅ You can log in to your WordPress admin dashboard from your WordPress Manager or WordPress admin login page, steps for both methods are shown below.

⚠️ If you log in to your WordPress admin dashboard from your WordPress Manager, make sure popups are allowed on your web browser.

ℹ️ If you log in to your WordPress admin dashboard from your WordPress admin login page, make sure you have your username and password on hand. If you don’t remember your password, do a password reset.

❌ Do not share your WordPress admin login details publicly.

Step by step

WordPress Manager

1. Log in to your hosting control panel

2. Click on the WordPress Manager button

3. In your WordPress Manager, find your WordPress website and click the Login button

4. Your WordPress admin dashboard will open on a new tab in your web browser. If it doesn’t, enable popups on your web browser and try again.

WordPress admin login page

1. Open a new window or tab on your web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.)

2. Go to your WordPress admin login page, which follows the structure below:

https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin

⚠️ Note: Make sure to replace yourdomain.com with your domain name. As an example, for the domain name cloudhelpcenter.com, the WordPress admin login page would be:

https://cloudhelpcenter.com/wp-admin

3. On your WordPress admin login page, type in your WordPress admin username or email address and WordPress admin password. Then click the Log In button.

4. Your WordPress admin dashboard will load in your web browser window or tab. If you get a failed login, it means you are not using the correct login details. Do a WordPress admin password reset and try again.
