Invite a new user to your hosting account

Invite new users to your hosting account through User Management, giving secure access to developers, designers, or any external users who need to work on your account or manage your services on your behalf.

Before you start

✅ To give external users access to your hosting account or services, always send a secure invite via User Management.

⚠️ Make sure to set the correct permissions for each external user.

ℹ️ Regularly review your external users to confirm access remains active only for those who need it.

Step by step

1. Log in to your user dashboard

2. Click on Manage Users

3. Click on the Add new contact button

4. Put in your new user’s details, the fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory. DO NOT click the Submit button yet. ⚠️ Note: Make sure to take note of the password, as you’ll need to share this with your user later.

5. Check the box next to Notify contact?

6. Scroll down to the Privileges section to set user permissions. You can use pre-set permission tags or select your own.

⚠️ Note: To give access to your hosting control panel, check the box next to Full control over services. You can add more permissions, but Full control over services is always needed for hosting control panel access. When ready, scroll down and click the Submit button.

• Here is an example of the process. We will use the Technical Staff tag to send access to our user:

7. Your user will receive an email invite. They must click the Review In User Dashboard link to register their account. Once registered, they can access your account to perform their tasks.

⚠️ Note: You have to share the password you set for your user, so that they can access their account.
