Activate the Daily Backups service
Definitions
The Daily Backups service captures a daily snapshot of the data on your entire hosting account and stores it remotely, maintaining a 14-day version history of your hosted data.
With the Daily Backups service, you can easily restore the following data points:
- Home Directory (your website files and folders)
- Databases
- Database Users
- Email Accounts
- DNS Zones
- FTP Accounts
- Cron Jobs
You can also access an emergency restore option to restore all data connected to your domain, in case of accidental deletion.
Before you start

ℹ️ The Daily Backups service provides you with an easy-to-use 1-click restore tool.
Step by step
1. Log in to your user dashboard
2. If you have one hosting service, you’ll go directly to its details page. For multiple services, click the arrow → next to the hosting service you want to add Daily Backups for
3. Click on Upgrade / Downgrade under Daily Backups
4. For the Daily Backups dropdown, select Daily Backups: Activated
5. Click the Continue button
6. On the next page, click the Submit button
7. Once your payment is processed, Daily Backups will be activated on your hosting service automatically. On your Service Details, you should see Activated next to Daily Backups now.
