Upload files to your public_html folder

Your public_html folder is where your hosted website files are stored for internet access. You can upload files or folders to your website’s public_html folder.

Before you start

✅ You can upload files to your public_html folder to make them accessible and viewable online.

ℹ️ Each of your hosted websites or apps has a public_html folder.

❌ Do not upload videos or heavy media files into your public_html folder.

Step by step

1. Log in to your hosting control panel

2. Click on the File Manager button

3. Double click the domains folder

4. Find your website folder and double click on it

5. Look for the public_html folder and double click on it

6. At this point, you can upload files to your website’s public_html folder. Click the [+] button on the left-hand side to get the Upload Files popup window.

7. Drag and drop your file into the Upload Files popup and click the Upload button

8. Once the file has finished uploading, you will see it at 100%. If you’d like to continue uploading files, click the checkmark ✓. If you’re done, you can click the X to close the session.

9. You will now see your uploaded file in your public_html folder
