View or reset your hosting control panel password

Your hosting control panel password lets you log in to your hosting control panel from your web browser or securely manage its files and transfers using SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol).

Before you start

✅ If you have multiple hosting services, choose the right one to manage the correct password.

❌ Do not share your hosting control panel password publicly.

ℹ️ Your hosting control panel password is your SFTP password as well.

Step by step

1. Log in to your user dashboard

2. If you have one hosting service, you’ll go directly to its details page. For multiple services, click the arrow → next to the hosting service you want to access.

3. From your hosting service details screen, you have two options. You can either View your existing hosting control panel password or Reset your hosting control panel password. Steps for both are provided below.

View your hosting control panel password

1. From your hosting service details screen, click on Login Details from the left-hand menu.

2. Click on the eye icon to the right of the password field to unveil the password.

3. Once the password is unveiled, you can click the copy to clipboard button to then be able to paste it anywhere you need.

Reset your hosting control panel password

1. From your hosting service details screen, click on Reset Password from the left-hand menu.

2. Click on the Reset Password button.

3. Your hosting control panel password will be emailed to you. Please note it will be emailed to the email address on file for your user account. Once you receive the password, store it securely.
