Change your hosting service term
Definitions
Your hosting service term is the frequency at which you pre-pay to renew your service. Here’s a breakdown of the available options.
Yearly term
- Prepaid for One Year: Your service renews annually.
- Billing Frequency: Once per year.
- Benefits: Higher discounts.
Monthly term
- Prepaid for One Month: Your service renews monthly.
- Billing Frequency: Month-to-month.
- Benefits: Greater flexibility, but pricier.
You can switch between yearly and monthly terms based on your needs. If you’re on a yearly plan, you might prefer the flexibility of monthly billing.
Conversely, if you’re on a monthly plan, you might want to take advantage of the discounts available with a yearly plan.
Before you start
✅ Yearly and monthly terms are available on hosting services.
❌ Multi-year (2-year or 3-year) terms are not available.
⚠️ Your term change can only take effect on your next renewal date, not before.
🚨 Domain registrations are available only on yearly terms.
