Manage the PHP module extensions on your hosting account
Definitions
PHP module extensions activate additional functions for your websites or apps on the specific PHP version running on your hosting account.
Before you start
✅ All PHP versions on your hosting account come with the most optimal pre-configured settings for PHP module extensions.
ℹ️ PHP module extensions should only be modified as per specific technical requirements set by your website or app.
⚠️ PHP module extensions are specific to each PHP version. If you change the PHP version of your hosting account, you will have to re-apply your PHP module extension settings to the new PHP version.
Step by step
1. Log in to your hosting control panel
2. Click on the Select PHP version button

3. You’ll be presented with a wide variety of PHP module extensions sorted in alphabetic order. Any PHP module extension that is checked off with a checkmark ✓ is already active on the PHP version running on your hosting account.
- To activate a PHP module extension, tick the box next to it to insert a checkmark ✓
- To disable a PHP module extension, tick the box next to it to remove the checkmark
ℹ️ You can hover over an extension to get a short description of what it does. Any changes you make will be saved automatically and applied immediately. Below is an example of the process.
