Manage your MX (email) records

Definitions

An MX (Mail Exchange) record is a type of DNS record that directs email messages to the correct mail server for your domain.

Before you start

✅ Your hosting account includes a pre-configured MX record for using your email service with us.

⚠️ If you use an external DNS or CDN provider (e.g., Cloudflare), manage your MX records on your provider’s user dashboard, they are controlled from there.

🚨 For Google, Microsoft and Zoho email services, use the separate activation guides provided below instead of this guide.

ℹ️ Updates to MX records may take up to 24 hours to propagate across the internet.
